I spent eighteen years as an automotive engineer, working with Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Smart, Overfinch, and McLaren. It's an environment where every surface, every curve, every tiny detail is considered for how it will make you feel the moment you step in. Nothing wasted, nothing overlooked, everything earning its place. The result is that unmistakable feeling of "wow" the second you experience it.
That instinct didn't begin with engineering. Growing up in Germany, I spent hours in my late father's carpentry workshop, experimenting with wood, learning through touch what patience and precision actually feel like. My mother was a dressmaker, and her fabric offcuts were my playground; I'd spend whole afternoons feeling the textures, stitching pieces together, absorbing without knowing it that fit and finish were everything. Long before I stepped into the automotive industry or a design studio, I already knew what it felt like when something was made with real care.
I left engineering to study residential interior design at KLC School of Design in London. KLC is one of the most respected interior design schools in the industry, known for training designers who take the craft seriously. It gave me the formal foundation to match what I had spent years developing intuitively. Because I realised that feeling of precision and care shouldn't be reserved for cars. It belongs in the rooms you come home to every day. The move wasn't a departure. It was a translation. The same obsessive attention, the same refusal to settle for good enough. Just applied to your home instead.

The property hadn't been redecorated in nearly twenty years and was in need of a complete refresh — outdated fixtures, tired finishes, and a persistent challenge with limited storage space. My involvement was limited to the key decision points.
